In response to the next military aggression that began on September 27, 2020, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, launched the Patriotic War for the liberation of our occupied lands. The liberation of our occupied lands was at the expense of the blood and lives of our heroic martyrs, soldiers, officers and veterans!
As a sign of deep respect to our soldiers and officers, all our martyrs and veterans who fought heroically in the Great Patriotic War, waved the Azerbaijani flag in our liberated lands, sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country, by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated December 2, 2020 It was decided to mark 27 of them as Remembrance Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
