Memorandum of Cooperation signed!
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between "AFB Bank" OJSC and Ganja State University.
The memorandum was signed by Hafiz Ibrahimov, Director of the Administrative Management Structure of AFB Bank OJSC, and Asif Javadov, Senior Adviser to the Rector of Ganja State University.
"Accelerating the development of the regions has been identified as one of the main goals of the state's economic policy. As AFB Bank, we also owe it to ourselves to regulate our activities in accordance with state policy. Therefore, we must add not only the capital, but also universities operating in the regions to the list of cooperation established with higher education institutions within the framework of our Bank's special "Internship Program". Hafiz Ibrahimov, Authorized Representative of AFB Bank, Director of the Administrative Management Structure, voiced these views during his speech at the event on the Memorandum.
According to the terms of the memorandum, final year students and graduates of Ganja State University will join the Internship Program and have an internship in the Ganja branch of AFB Bank. Interns who successfully complete the program will be awarded Certificates, and in the future, when applying for a job, they will already have documents confirming that they have some experience in banking. Interns with special talents and abilities will be able to work on existing vacancies. The aim of the project is to train educated and self-confident young people who are the future of our society as real professionals by adding practical knowledge to their theoretical knowledge.
It should be noted that this is not the first cooperation established by AFB Bank with universities in connection with the Internship Program. Earlier, our Bank signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Western Caspian University on the basis of this program. In the future, our Bank plans to establish cooperation with both the city of Baku and other universities in the regions.
AFB Bank OJSC, one of the leading financial institutions in the country with 7 branches and 4 sub-branches, started its activity in February 2009.
