Instruction on working with POS-terminals

 

- Pay attention not to lose the vendor performing Your transaction operations on POS-terminal at any sale point (For example: restaurant, hotel, gym and etc.);

- If during the transaction  PIN code is required to enter Post-terminal, do it carefully in order not to be seen by other people. On the other hand, outsider  see Your PIN code, steal Your card and withdraw remaining money in the form of the cash from ATM;

- Do not keep PIN code, number of bank's Call Service and "code word" (defines you as a card owner) in the same place. In contrast, above mentioned information will help You from financial loss when card is lost and stolen;

- When You are shopping at any sale point you have a right to require transaction procedure only by Your participation;

- During the transaction procedure on POS-terminals, write Your code with one of Your hand and close the keyboard with other one. On the other hand,  cashier and other people see Your PIN code;

-You can do operation on POS- terminal in two ways:

-When PIN code is not added: At the end of the transaction, vendor will ask Your signature on the transaction check. Your signature signed on the check proves that transaction has been done by You.

-When PIN code is added: During the transaction vendor will ask You to enter PIN code. Additionally, at the end vendor can ask your signature on the check.

- Before signing on the check be sure whether sales amount noted on the check is right or not;

- At the end of each transaction do not forget to take the copy of the check confirming the success of the transaction. Check can help you in this circumstances:

- When you return  good back or dislike the service;

- In order to check the truthfulness of the amount of money withdrawn from the bank account by the bank.

-In order to confirm authenticity of the transactions via payment card.

- If you decide to pay first with a payment card, then stop the transaction and pay in cash, make sure you take a cash receipt.

-At the end of the transaction do not forget to take the payment card from cashier.

-In no case do not allow anyone to copy sensitive information belongs to Your card:

- PAN(16 digit number on the card)

-CVV2/CVC2 ( 3 digit number behind the card)

-Exp.date/Valid Thru (Expiration date of the payment card)
