AFB Bank OJSC, one of the leading banks in the country, ended the second quarter of 2021 with a net profit of 8 million 183 thousand manat.
In the same period last year, this figure was 3 million 222 thousand manat, which is an increase of 4 million 960 thousand manat or 60% of net profit.
As a result of the work done to solve problem loans, interest income on loans has more than doubled compared to the same period last year.
The adequacy ratio of the Bank's total capital and Tier I capital is many times higher than the Central Bank's norms.
